Esmé Lammers is a Dutch writer, filmdirector and photographer. She studied mathematics before she went to Filmschool. As a student she worked as a still photographer and photographed the people she met in the nightclub across the street; actors, musicians and filmmakers.

This site shows her photo’s from the eighties and the more recent taken photo’s – mainly productionphotography of the film Saint by Dick Maas.

Her goal is to make timeless images in her films and her photo’s.

The films and televisionseries she wrote and directed are on Cupola Films.

In 2015 Esmé founded the site Afdeling Filmzaken about the business side of filmmaking in the Netherlands to inspire fellow filmmakers to be more selfaware of their creative power and rights.

She also developed a subsidy assessment tool with the University Twente for the Dutch Filmfonds Makers op Waarde Geschat.
